This delicious brew shows the very best characteristics of Bavarian dark wheat and barley malts. Brewed in the traditional manner in the Monasteries cellar, the fine Hallertau aromatic hop-flavour is preserved by natural, non-filtered bottling.
German Abbey brewery Andechs combines the century old traditions of Benedictine monks with the modern brilliant brewing techniques that Germany is famous for.
The Three Sacred Hosts from Bamberg have delivered once again. Bavaria in a glass, dont expect mind blowing flavours, just endless drinkability and the taste of a great dunkel weisse beer brewed in accordance with the Reheinsgebot. If you know German beer, you will be right at home here.

It's a very good beer. To be honest, not totally to our taste but that's subjective. It's a little dry hoppy but that's balanced with a sweet malt taste. It's a dark appearance. Unusually, the deposits in the bottle were clumped together in quite large, dark lumps. Not a problem though and the beer is quite uniform in yeast haze already. Well worth a try and we have enjoyed the change from our usual drinks.
