t's always a pleasure to welcome our neighbors from Cyclic Beer Farm to Garage HQ. Their style of elegant, sour, mixed-fermented beers is a marvel, so we wanted to use some of that elegance to create a sour kettle beer that would take inspiration from that manual. It was all about delicately balancing the ingredients to bring complexity to an easy-drinking sour beer. The careful use of hibiscus, orange blossom water, vanilla, and cinnamon results in a beer with a beautiful red hue that brings back memories of Mexican Jamaican water and cranberry sauce that pairs with Christmas dinner. A dry finish with a slight rounded sweetness of vanilla make it a very drinkable sour ale.
