On Friday 14th & Saturday 15th June, hundreds of awesome beer geeks and party goers descended on The Beer Merchants Tap, our bar, bottleshop & blendery in Hackney Wick.
The weekend's festivities were to celebrate 40 years of our parent company - Cave Direct, the UK's leading independent beer importer/distributor and saw some of the finest brewers and breweries from around the world coming together to help us throw the best beery party of the summer!
With tutored talks held throughout the weekend by Jean Van Roy of Cantillon, Mark Tranter of Burning Sky, Mike Murphy of Lervig and many more. This was the perfect opportunity to not only drink incredible beers, but hang out with the people behind them and get a real insight into their processes.
First and foremost however, In Good Company was a party and what a party it was! With friends like Omnipollo, Tiny Rebel, Northern Monk & Lervig, we knew there would be some crazy beers, but we were blown away to have this much quality beer under one roof to help us celebrate.
But as well as thanking all the great brewers who came from all across the world, we want to give a huge shout-out to everyone that bought a ticket, hustled their way in on the door, won a golden ticket to be there. You helped us have the best birthday party we could have possibly hoped for!
