St. Feuillien

Since 1873 the Friart family have been brewing various beers with the most recognised being St Feuillien. The History dates way back to 655 when an Irish Monk named Feuillien made his way to Belgium to preach the gospel, the nice part stops there as he was martyred and beheaded. On the site of his Martyrdom his disciples erected a chapel which later become the Abbaye St Feullien which to this day is where St Feullien is brewed.
