An arabier is a pure malt beer brewed with flower Nugget-hops from Poperinge. It has the special dry-hopping taste and aroma, so appreciated by beer lovers all over the world. It is one of the two main beers from De Dolle Brouwers throughout the year. Aging time is limited due to the fact that hop bitterness is declining with the time.
Store arabier cool and dark and serve cool at 10°C. 33cl, 8%ABV.
De Dolle Brouwers translates as "the mad brewers" and that suits people behind De Dolle. They produce daring, delicious beers and have done since 1980, long before the term "craft beer" was coined.
There is a funny, slightly bitter taste to this beer, it must be from the hop flowers. This beer is refermented and unfiltered so there is yeast residue in every bottle, I didn't realise this and poured my first glass without taking any special care. I realised when I was pouring my second bottle but the yeast residue was so solid in the bottle that almost none made it into the glass! Arabier is described as a 'blond' and even with boisterous pouring was clear-ish in the glass. It is 8% but doesn't taste that strong.

This is a good blonde beer which I would happily order again.
