Something Good is a new rotating IPA series where we explore new ingredients, techniques and processes with the hope of hitting on something good… We plan to release one Something Good every month this year.
For the third iteration of Something Good, we used hand selected Simcoe and Amarillo CRYO hops and a new dry hopping technique. This SG came out very soft and juicy but with fantastic (crisp) drinkability. Full on orange and citrus fruit juice with a wee bit of pine and solid bitterness. Banger.
Since 2015, DEYA has been developing innovative and delicious beers from their base in Cheltenham. Led by head honcho Theo Freyne, they’re well-regarded in UK beer circles for their brilliant pale ale Steady Rolling Man, and DEYA IPAs like Into the Haze and Invoice Me For the Microphone are brilliantly fruity, hobby and easy-drinking – as well as having great names!
DEYA brewery’s catalogue doesn’t stop there, though. They have an equally rambunctious range of wild ales, bitters, doubles, white beers and more – each one pushing the boundaries of beermaking further still.
