Based on the German Christmas biscuit of the same name, the Pfeffernüsse Stout brings together a rich, malty stout with the perfect blend of festive spice. Ginger and cinnamon dominate the nose with biscuity malts and warming spices joining on the palate.
Anspach & Hobday was founded by two school friends, Paul Anspach and Jack Hobday, who began home brewing in 2011. In 2012 they ran a successful Kickstarter campaign to crowd source the financing of their professional brew kit, and have now begun production out of their Bermondsey site.
