Sloop Brewing Company, suitably named for the ships that used to meander up and down the Hudson River, has been providing the New York beer scene with fantastic beers since 2011. Whilst they put emphasis on creating their flagship New England style IPAs, they also brew stouts, sours, and classic lagers.After increasing capacity in 2018 by moving venues and adding more tanks – they keep their smaller tanks in use to allow the brewing team to play around with smaller, more creative batches. Playful ideas come to fruition in beers by them whilst they continue to experiment and try new things, while remaining true to their East Coast tradition.
