About this product
A super pale and hazy 8.2% DIPA built on a base of Pilsner and Wheat Malts that really allow the hops to play the lead. A mid fermentation dry-hop of Idaho 7 screams Pineapple and canned Peaches on the nose that we then lifted with a healthy dose of Strata and Simcoe to round out this dank fruit cocktail party of a beer. Oats see the palate through to the end with a creamy, full bodied finish that "hides the ABV well", as they say.

Whiplash began as a side project for Alan & Alex back in 2016. Both working in brewing already, they rented tanks at the weekend and released single batch small releases for fun from their own place of work and other friend’s breweries around Ireland. Now with a home, a kit and a small crew: Whiplash are very much the Dublin brewery at the forefront of all that’s modern in Irish beer.
