Tegernseer Quirinus Dunkler Doppelbock is a strong, dark German lager from Herzoglich Bayerisches Brauhaus Tegernsee. Brewed as a winter seasonal lager, Tegernseer Quirinus Dunkler Doppelbock is rich and warming at 7% ABV - perfect for the colder months.
Pouring a deep chestnut colour, Tegernseer Quirinus Dunkler Doppelbock offers up rich aromas of fruit cake, banana and brown sugar. The flavour is warming, with toffee and dates mingling with some roasty flavours from the dark malt. Buy Tegernseer Quirinus Dunkler Doppelbock for an intense, warming winter lager from German brewery, Brauhaus Tegernsee.
Rich dried fruit edged bock. The description above pretty much hits the nail on the head. The sweetness / richness is there but perfectly balanced. Would put this up there with Paulaner's Salvator though this beer is perhaps a little more subtle on roasty side. Perhaps my fav bock yet.
