St.Feuillien Blonde is a medium bodied and intriguing, malty-hoppy, blond abbey beer. Best served in a branded balloon glass, with or without the sediment. Good with escaveche and cheese.
Since 1873 the Friart family have been brewing various beers with the most recognised being St Feuillien. The History dates way back to 655 when an Irish Monk named Feuillien made his way to Belgium to preach the gospel
This has long been one of my favourite blond beers.
It has a great depth of taste.
It is a fairly gassy beer though and a few times it has exploded out of the bottle on opening.
