Carefree, light pleasure: "Meine leichte Weisse" - the wheat beer with less alcohol but full aromatic wheat beer flavour. An ideal choice for that moment in between, at lunch-time or in the afternoon. Its refreshingly tangly note offers delectable, delightful moments, suitable for any occassion - and certainly a crowning finale of your day.
Until 1872, only the German monarchy were allowed to brew weiss bier and the rest of the nation's breweries has to stick to lagers. That changed when interest in the style dipped and sales declined. A disinterested King Ludwig sold the rights to brew it to Georg I Schneider
It is indeed thiner than the stronger/higher ABV versions of Weissbier, but it remains very tasty nevertheless. Great in summer!

Low in alcohol - light/leichte. Whilst a thirst quencher it is a little thin. I prefer the normal versions.

This is a light (or 'leichte') beer so low in alcohol. It has the characteristics of a Weizen but lacks body. OK as a thirst quencher but I think I prefer the standard versions.
