This naturally cloudy beer is brewed according to historical models. Like all Rothaus beers with our soft brewing water from our own springs directly behind our brewery in the forest, quality malt from the region and aromatic hops from Tettnang and the Hallertau.
Often touted as the world's best pilsner, Rothaus Tannenzapfle is indeed a stunning example of clean, delicious lager brewing. The brewery itself was founded by the abbot of a monastery in the German Black Forest.
