Lindemans Pecheresse is an easy drinking and wine-like, tart, peach-sweet, fruit beer. Best served in a branded straight glass. Good with foie grass and puddings.
A slightly sweet peach lambic beer made in the traditional Belgian style by the Lindemans family. Lambic beers are fermented using wild yeasts in the air and aged in oak barrels for years to give a sour tart flavour. For this beer, peaches are then added to give the beer a pleasant, aromatic sweetness that offsets the sour base before a pleasing and refreshing tart finish.
As the biggest lambic brewer in Belgium, Lindemans offers those new to sour beer an easier way in. With the exception of their fantastic Oud Kriek, their beers are sweeter than the others' and full of a sherberty sweetness that makes most of them fantastic dessert beers.
