BLAU, blue in Catalan is the color of our Mediterranean sea.With the growth of the factory, we could only notice that our carbon footprint was getting bigger and bigger, and we didn't want to sit idly by.That's why we got together with our friends from Vaayu, a German start up that is responsible for measuring the carbon footprint of small businesses. Vaayu, with its system, allows us to know in real time, how much carbon Blau produces, from Knowing the carbon we produce, the next step is to take action.Not only reducing the carbon we generate in the factory, but also collaborating with SEAREG, an organization that restores biodiversity on the Catalan Mediterranean coast.With this, through the introduction of macroalgae that sequester carbon and reduce oxygen, we are reducing the carbon footprint with the aim of reaching zero.
