Goose Island
Goose Island was founded by John Hall in Chicago in 1988 and has since cemented itself as a Pioneer of the US Beer Scene now becoming one of the most successful breweries in the Midwest. Johns Fate struck in the form of a Thunderstorm in Dalas. His flight was delayed so consequently he picked up an in flight magazine and started reading, inside was an article about boutique beers which gripped his imagination and planted the seed of creating his very own brewery. After 2 years of thinking, researching and planning Goose Island was born.
