A fantastic find during our exploration of the Belgian microbrewery in autumn 2015, De Plukker is actually a famous hop farm in Poperinge, Flanders. It supplies many of the Belgian and British breweries, and Simon the farmer is a world-renowned expert on hopsUnsurprisingly that means many of their beers are very hop forward for a Belgian brewery, and their range includes a wonderful hoppy Belgian strong ale, a perfectly balanced earthy and sweet bruin, an American double IPA and the first beer we’ve brought over – a stunning wet hop blonde ale.
