Abbaye de Val Dieu
Despite its ancient setting, the brewery at Abbaye de Val Dieu is relatively modern. After a history of being raized and rebuilt over centuries, a brasserie was eventually founded in 1997, producing fantastic Abbey style beers in the tradition of the monks who have brewed in Belgium for hundreds of years. Unlike many Abbey beers, Val Dieu beers are still produced on site and they brew a blonde, brune and tripel, the later being recognised as one of the best in the world.
