Boon Marriage Parfait is a medium bodied and intense, malty oaky-tart, lambiek oude geuze. Best served in a branded straight glass with or without the sediment. Good with fish or cheese.
A medium-bodied and intense gueze with hints of malt and wheat, as well as cider and oak. More sour than the traditional gueze because it is made with more old lambic, which has a more vinous and acidic character that cuts through the deep sweet flavour.
Boon produces some of the best sour or lambic beers in the world. Exposed to natural yeasts in the air and left to ferment in giant (and we mean giant) oak barrels, it is the most natural way to make beer and yields a depth of flavour not found in any other style.
