The missing link between Bavarian Hefeweizens and Belgian Saisons, Finisterrae is a lifesaver during the days of heat spent in sultry biergartens. Finisterrae is the Birrificio Italiano take on the Bavarian classic. Straw golden in color, crowned by a frothy, optic-white head, this craft top-fermented beer is brewed with 50% of malted wheat. Nose is fresh and spiced, with herbal and tropical fruit notes given by the hops. The taste, initially sweet, suddenly evolves into an acidic feel and culminates in a subtle bitterness.
